    Spotted! Dodge Viper GTS

While visiting Minneapolis this last weekend for a wedding I was a little disappointed that I didn’t see any unique cars. Usually when I visit a big city there are all kinds of rare vehicles lying around but this time I only saw the usual people carriers and lots of Mini Coopers. On my way back home, however, I stumbled across this Dodge Viper GTS while filling up for gas!

The Dodge Viper GTS was introduced in 1996 and it’s nickname was “double bubble” because of the two humps on top of the roof. These were designed so the driver and passenger could wear helmets. This is definitely a race car because a stock GTS can do the quarter mile in 12 seconds! In 2006, the GTS was replaced by the SRT-10.
