It’s no secret that Ford just released the ability to apply for their all new 2017 GT on their website. And, like every other person ogling over America’s newest supercar, we’ve been spending way too much time on their online configurator. It turns out that $400,000 is what it takes to actually get the 2017 Ford GT, but all you need is a computer to submit an application.
So for fun, I asked the other authors here at Short Shift to send me the way they would take their 600+ hp slab of American muscle and here is what they sent me:
Steve Miller
I want mine in Frozen White with Alpine Blue stripes, matte black carbon fiber accents and wheels, and blue calipers. On the inside i’ll keep it black with “Dark Energy”.
Oz Raj
After changing my mind a few times, I finally settled on Liquid Gray with Liquid Blue stripes. For accents, I want the gloss black carbon fiber lip and the gloss black 20″ forged aluminum wheels with calipers to match the stripes.
Chris Berke
I normally don’t care for yellow but something about this Triple Yellow and Alloy stripe combo really grabbed me. I also went with the gloss carbon fiber splitter and wheels and I gotta have the red calipers because, you know, race car.
Connor McIntire
I’ve always found white with a subtle blue to be the most sophisticated combo. I’d choose Frozen White with Ingot Grey stripes and blue calipers. Also, gotta have glossy carbon all around.
How would you take your 2017 Ford GT?
