The July episode of Minnesota’s Cars and Coffee will go down as the most epic so far. There was an enormous turn out including a Bugatti Veyron Vitesse, a Porsche Carrera GT, a couple of Ford GT’s, and NTH Moto’s twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo and Saleen S7. There was no shortage of cars to look at for everyone’s taste. The stance bros had several GTI’s to choose from, muscle dudes had an awesome selection of Corvettes and Mustangs, and the exotic lovers were extremely well catered to as well. Several thousand fans showed their support for the local automotive life on a beautiful July Saturday. I can’t wait to see what August brings!

Our favorites? Definitely the Porsche Carrera GT. The GT is a mid-engine supercar with a naturally aspirated V10 that revs to 8500 rpms and develops 605 hp. Unlike the rest of the Porsche lineup which, let’s face it, look identical, the Carrera digs deeper into supercar-land by having a longer, lower body. [tweet_quote hashtags=”CarreraGT” ]There were only 1270 produced from 2004 – 2007.[/tweet_quote]
The other car that cannot go unnoticed is the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse. Afterall, it is the fastest roadster in the world! Coming with a 1200 hp W16, yes two V8s, engine, it’s hard to argue with the numbers. It also comes in a pretty blue color scheme but this one was wrapped to be a little more patriotic for the weekend. Also, if you saw Transformers 4 this last week, this car is just like the ninja warrior Drift in the movie.
See you next month!
