SCCS Autocross – May 2012

    This was my first time at this event and here is my coverage of the May SCCS Autocross. This was the first race of the summer and there will be 3 more coming up!

    Autocross is a safe, entry level style of racing where drivers compete against the clock. There is a course set up on a large paved area that is designated by cones. Drivers then get 2 sets of 3 heats to try their best at getting the fastest time. Autocross is a great way for beginners to try out their vehicles and potentially advance to higher levels in racing. The official group of these events is the Sports Car Club of Siouxland (SCCS) and you can join their community here:
