It’s tough to get three Chevrolet Corvette Z06s together and much less at dawn. Thanks to David, Derek, and Edgar for waking up early to make this shoot happen!
Edgar’s 2015 C7 Z06 is possibly the greatest iteration of the last generation of front engined Corvettes. The bright yellow exterior with perfect contrast of the carbon fiber and competition seats on the inside. With the subtle addition of a cross pipe in the exhaust, this car has the growl to match its brutish looks!
Speaking of subtle, David’s silver C6 Z06 is definitely just that. To any unsuspecting admirer, it might even be stock. Until he accelerates, that is. This is because David’s Corvette makes 650hp to the wheels from the naturally aspirated 7 liter V8. There is no way around it, that is a lot of power.
On the contrary, we have Derek’s not-so-subtle grey C6 Z06, with all the race car parts you could want, and then some. Derek is a fan of autocross, and frequents many local events around the Twin Cities area. His car makes 560 horsepower to the wheels, even with that silly exhaust.
