The 2019 Short Shift Gift Guide

It only comes but once a year!

There’s only two weeks left until Christmas and Short Shift is back again to make sure you get the absolute best gifts for your loved ones this season. I’ve scoured the internet to make sure you don’t see a single frown Christmas morning. I’ve also mixed things up a bit this year by including a few items that are actually pretty cool! Now without further ado, here are the top ten automotive gifts for 2018.

    Porsche Office Chair ($5,690.00)

First up is the ever shameless money making machine known as Porsche. This office chair is modeled after your favorite 911 front seat. It’s also somehow even more expensive than the exhaust tip soundbar we featured last year.

    Subaru RC Rally Car ($139.95)

I have no doubt that this Subaru RC rally car would be fun to play with, especially since it has all wheel drive. However, I find it amusing that an official Subaru branded product neglected to use the term “WRX” or “STI” anywhere on the packaging.

Ford Mustang 4-in-1 LP Record Player ($129.95)

Unfortunately this Ford Mustang record player is on backorder, but how cool does it look? Proof that retro will always be cool.

    C8 Corvette Driving Shoes ($164.00)

Nothing says “Boomer” like buying Corvette branded shoes for your Corvette that’s not even out yet.

    Lamborghini Colored Pencil Set ($30.00)

Lamborghini fans are sitting at home deciding between never using these for fear of wearing them down and coloring in everything they have in bright Lambo colors. Props to the non-plastic packaging, though!

    Ferrari Eraser Set ($27.00)

Ferrari’s perfect answer for when you’ve realized you made a terrible mistake with your Lamborghini colored pencils.

    Die-Cast Tesla Semi ($250.00)

At least this one actually exists. AND it’s a fraction of the down payment for a real one.

McLaren HTC Vive VR Headset ($1,800.00)

As a casual gamer, I would expect the chair, pedals, and steering wheel to be included with that price tag…

    Lego Technic Bugatti Chiron ($349.99)

By far the coolest gift on this list. In fact, if you want to get me this 3,599 piece Lego set, I will make a super cool time lapse video of me putting it together set to calming music. 🙂
