Welcome to the existential crisis that is, the 2019 RAM 1500. This truck has earned this title because it has no idea what it is.
On the inside is a beautiful 12.9″ display, comfortable leather everywhere, ample room for passengers, and storage cubbies galore. This particular RAM 1500 is the “Limited” model with an MSRP of nearly $69,000.
Remember when the 2019 RAM 1500 was announced and I went on and on about the new features, the Bang and Olufsen sound system, and so forth? Well all of that comes at an eye-watering price; which is the fundamental problem with this truck. The RAM 1500 is far too nice for any legitimate utility use and the interior is just not worker friendly. Instead, it’s highlights are that it’s terrifically comfortable and would be a wonderful highway cruiser. One could consider this truck to be a jack of all trades, while terribly confused at the same time. In short, the 2019 RAM 1500 is master of none.
This truck was provided by my good friend over at Victory and Reseda, Randy Stern. He actually got the pleasure of driving this mammoth and you can read his full review here:Â www.randystern.net/2019-ram-1500/
